Our Work

The primary focus of 7Generations' work has been providing assistance to the Native People of Pleasant Point and Indian Township, Maine. In addition, we have provided assistance to families in other parts of Maine and New Hampshire.

Our staff consists entirely of volunteers, including our Event On-Site Coordinators. This allows us to keep operating costs low and pass those savings along to individuals and families in need today.

Aside from on-going aid efforts, 7Generations annually distributes school supplies to children identified as being from a family in need of assistance, alleviating one expense for the back-to-school season.

The Holiday Season can be particularly stressful for families living below the poverty
level. 7Generations holds a special toy and food drive to help make the season happy for the children. Families submit gift lists and we do our best to make those wishes come true through donations of new toys, clothing and food.
